by Charles en Ray Eames
Label: Vitra / Herman Miller
The Rocking Armchair is a part of the plastic shell group of Charles and Ray Eames. The base of this series were made for a competition of low cost furniture, organised by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Eames found that the series needed a hammock chair. In this chair, both wood and rvs are combined.
